Dr. Dan V. Armooh is the Managing director of Acacia Health. He holds a medical degree from KNUST, an MPH from the University of Sheffield, an MBA from Central University College, a Health Economics certificate from the University of Aberdeen and a Diploma in Insurance from the Ghana Insurance College. After starting in private practice, Dr. Armooh transitioned from clinical practice to health insurance management, leading Acacia through challenging times and transforming it into a profitable entity. Under his leadership, Acacia’s net insurance revenue grew from 6 million to over 150 million cedis between 2015 and 2024. Acacia now serves over 300 corporate clients, works with over 750 service providers across Ghana and directly manages the private health insurance plans for over 50,000 people in Ghana.
